Is horniness really what makes people cheat?

I don’t think women usually cheat just because they’re horny. A lot of the time, it starts with feeling lonely, unseen, or emotionally checked out of the relationship. When someone stops feeling desired or cared for, attention from another person can hit differently. It doesn’t make cheating okay, but it might explain why it happens.
