He’s Opened Your Chat More Than Once, but He Still Hasn’t Pressed Send
Aug 18, 2026
The Seven of Wands says his hesitation isn’t caused by a total lack of feeling. He thinks your guard is already up. He worries that reaching out could lead to rejection, hard questions, or a conversation about everything he once avoided. So the unsent messages may sound like this: “I know I handled things badly.” Deleted. “I’ve been thinking about you a lot.” Deleted again. “If you’re open to it, can we talk?” His finger stops above send. The Four of Pentacles shows that he’s still holding on—but he’s also holding tightly to his pride and sense of control. He wants proof that the door is open without risking rejection first. If a message arrives, don’t be impressed simply because he finally reached out. A message worth answering should contain honesty, accountability, and a clear reason—not a casual “hey” that makes you carry the conversation. If you could keep only one opening line from him, what would make you continue reading? Write that line in the comments. I’ll choose three for my next reading and reveal whether each one sounds like sincerity, testing, or a temporary wave of emotion.
